This is Robert Stewart with Hill13.com. Another
legend in the, in the game of paint ball is a man named Rob Rubin. He came up with a very
simple acronym that’s very helpful for new players to remember, some of the, some of
the more advanced approaches to team tactics. And that is called ACT. A-C-T. What ACT stands
for is angles, communication and teamwork, or as he refers to it as the triad. Those
three legs or pillars are what you need as a team to be a strong team. Angles that refers
to like we’ve talked about in the past, shooting lanes, but it’s also about how you’re moving
and how you’re moving as a team on the field. Communication is pretty straight forward.
That usually comes in the form of codes which are verbals or audible codes and hand signals
in case stealth is, is what you need to employ to get the job done. And then teamwork and
that really is about drilling, staying, staying tight in terms of your plan and working together.
