Hi, this is Robert Stewart with hill13.com.
Now we’re going to talk about a personal favorite of mine, just because it really does come
down to hand-eye coordination, and accuracy, and that game is duel. Now, a lot of places
will play it where it’s just with pistols. You can use a standard paintball weapon like
these here. You just have to make sure that there’s only one round in the weapon, and
the way that you do that is you load the weapon, you can test fire the weapon if necessary
to make sure that it’s feeding rounds into it, and then turn the weapon upside down,
and take the hopper off. And now you know you have the one round inside the firing chamber.
The way this game is played is with a warder and two opponents, and a clear area in which
both opponents, standing back to back can walk out ten paces apiece. The way this game
works is the two opponents are back to back, the warder stands back with his paintball
gun, and he says, gentlemen, this is an affair of honor. On my command, you will each take
ten steps forward, and when I count to ten you will turn and fire. Now, if you turn before
I count to ten, I will be forced to shoot you. At that point the warder begins to count
to ten. You take ten paces, and on the tenth pace, each man turns and fires. Only if the
ball breaks is the player eliminated. The player not eliminated wins the duel.
