This is Robert Stewart with Hill13.com. Recently
we found another game that’s pretty interesting to play if you’re just trying to hone your
marksmanship skills and you don’t have enough people to put together real teams. And that’s
Hide and Seek. In Hide and Seek, all players begin at one entrance of the field. One of
those players is determined to be “it” and wears an arm band. The way this works is,
the player with the arm band, the person who is “it”, stands and makes a slow count and
allows the players to get onto the field. Depending on the size of the field you may
want to give them the count of fifty, or even a hundred. And once all the players are on
the field, then when the, when the person who is “it” finishes his count, he enters
the field. Now you can, you can play this with “it” shooting at you or with him just
simply calling you out if he sees you. So as you move through the field and you’re “it”
and you see someone you just point at them and say out and they have to return to home.
Each person returning to home has to hit a horn or a whistle to let everyone know that
one player has been eliminated. If “it” is put out of the game or any, any other player
is hit by any other player they are eliminated and must return home. The player who eliminates
“it” is the winner unless “it” gets everyone else.
