Hi. I’m Robert Stewart, with Hill13.com. Today
we’re going to talk about gloves. There are as many different types, manufacturers, makes,
and models of gloves as there are masks. It’s a preference thing to wear them, but if you
fall in a sticker bush on a woods ball field, you’ll be really glad that you had them on.
Or for that matter, a paintball striking the knuckle is probably pretty painful. I wouldn’t
know that, though, because I wear gloves. Now, you have a lot of different glove types.
And a lot of people, nowadays, are armoring up a lot. So some people like armored gloves.
That, in my opinion, is a little bit of a catch-22, because most armored gloves, they
have a hard plastic plate across the front to completely protect the front of your hand.
But you have to ask yourself, during play, at what price, because the armor plating on
the front of it usually will break balls faster than a soft material, such as this, will.
So you get great hand protection, but if you lean your hands out there, they’re probably
going to get painted.
